I have actually finished the handle on this blade couple of weeks ago. I proudly showed it to a friend, who promptly said “well there is a crack in the handle here, look”. Oh well, it was just a stabilized block of elm, no big deal, 30 Euro or something. So now the handle is some weird cocobolo with very inconsistent colors, I hope it will sort of even out and darken over time.
